OS 6" map (1957)

This church, of which there are no extant remains, was built on the site of a chapel in 1636(3), replacing the old parish church (NX45NE 3). It was in use as the parish church till 1834 when a new church was built at NX 4761 5849.

Name Book 1850; H Scott 1917.

A modern 'larder' occupies the site of this church. No further information.

Visited by OS (WDJ) 3 December 1969.
