Archaeology Notes

NX15NE 143 19291 56881

For predecessor Bridge of Park (NX 19145 57353), see NX15NE 17.

This bridge carries the present line of the A75 (T) public road over the Water of Luce, to the SW of Glenluce village (NX15NE 52) and E of Mains of Park steading (NX15NE 144.00).

The location assigned to this record defines the midpoint of the structure. The available map evidence suggests that it extends from NX c. 19273 56874 to NX c. 19320 56889.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 16 March 2006.
