OS 6"map, (1957).
From the ruins of the church of Fishwick which still remain, it appears to have been a very plain building, long and narrow, and of small dimensions.
New Statistical Account (NSA, J Edgar: written 1834), 1845.
There was a church here by 1150, but its remains were removed in about 1835 and replaced by a mortuary chapel. The church served the former parish of Fishwick, which was united with Hutton in 1614.
