The farm buildings at Swintonmill are shown on plans dating from 1803. The current edition of the Ordnance Survey 1:10,000 map shows little change at the site, though the farmhouse appears to have been extended in the late nineteenth century.
The farmsteading included a range of facilities, such as cattle courts and shelters, stables and barns. It also included a windmill, which may once have powered a threshing machine.
