n area of barely discernible rig, measuring up to 330m from N to S by up to 140m, lies on the level ground of the haughland on the E of the Bowmont Water and directly opposite The Folly Cottage. A sheepfold overlies the rig at NT 8132 2409, near its SE corner. Immediately E of the sheepfold there is a extensive area of NW to SE oriented rig (NT82SW 99) which appears to be contemporary with the N to S oriented rig as the two areas of cultivation respect each other.
