Archaeology Notes

NT81NE 59 from 8489 1985 to 8515 1947

Occupying all but the E quarter of the interior of the enclosure (NT81NE 2) on the broad ridge top to the E of Park Law, there are traces of cultivation. On the SW, the cultivation continues along the contour outwith the enclosure down over the moderately steep to steep SW-facing slope. At the SE corner of the enclosure, the cultivation continues through the gap for a further 50m. The cultivation averages 4m in width between furrows 0.1m in depth in the interior of the enclosure which become more pronounced on the hillside.
