Note (6 October 2022)

The location, classification and period of this site have been reviewed.

Aerial Photographic Interpretation (6 October 2022)

The SE side of this curvilinear enclosure and field drains have been recorded as cropmarking on oblique photographs (RCAHMSAP 1979) on the N facing slope of Doon Hill. The enclosure is oval on plan, measuring about 53m NE to SW within a ditch about 2.5m broad. The field drains lie immediately to the E and were previously interpreted as part of an enclosure.
