No further information was found regarding this cist. There is nothing to be seen on the ground.

The authority for this publication is unknown, the Revision Name Books having been destroyed during the 1939-45 war. No references to this find have been found in publications during recording, other than the RCAHMS, who merely quote the OS map. However, the Ordnance Survey Name Book (ONB) records that 'stone coffins' had been found in the neighbourhood of the standing stone described on NT57SE 2, which stood at NT 5781 7409.
