Pre 1943 single storey, E-plan block built of brick with corrugated asbestos roof situated within the Museum of Flight.
In use by the Museum of Flight as a workshop and store.
The building is visible on RAF WW II vertical air photographs (NLA 68, 3041-3049,4041-4049, flown 26 August 1943).

Air Ministry, circa 1940-45. Single storey, E-plan block. Single brick skin,
buttressed; rendered in concrete large boarded 2-leaf doors to reception
bays, steel-framed multi-pane casement windows. Louvered ventilation
panels to gable ends. Corrugated asbestos roof.
INTERIOR: whitewashed, with service ramps, cast-iron beams supporting
roof.
Currently serving as Museum of Flight workshop and stores. Listed for its
contribution to the former airfield complex.
