Stone built two road railway engine shed. The building has a pitched roof and is in use for commercial purposes. At the S end is a cast iron water tank (NT 57752 31550), originally for providing water to railway steam engines.

The only surviving small engine shed on the route of the Waverley Line (RLY 4).
