A farmstead comprising one unroofed building, one partially roofed building, two roofed buildings, one of which is a long building, and four enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Roxburghshire 1863, sheet xx). One partially roofed building, two roofed buildings and four enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1971).
