Mulholland, illustrating two scrapers, lists Whitchesters among sites which have produced mesolithic material. (See also NT41SE 11).

H Mulholland 1970

In Wilton Lodge museum, Hawick are '12 flints, 2 non-flint, all retouched' from Whitchesters (house at NT 469 110) (HAKMG 3786-3799). A barbed-and-tanged arrowhead (HAKMG 3791) has a Whitchesters label, but is a North American form.
