Square on plan and about 1.5m high. Dated 1727.

This same sundial was recorded by Dr Andrew Somerville in 1981 at Kirkside Place, Sorn, Ayrshire, whose owner at the time was said to have been a descendant of the Coults who built Inveresk House (MS 5741/7/28).
