NT36SW 22.07 centred 3329 6377

This pitch-pine structure is one of the oldest parts of the pit. It treated dirty water from the Felspar Washer by using a bucket elevator to scour the settling tank and allowing the water to drain away, leaving a fine silt that was used for firing the boilers.
