19th century fort situated at the N end of Inchkeith. All that survives of this fort is subterranean stone built magazines and accommodation rooms.

The magazines are accessed via a flight of stairs from the S leading down to an entrance chamber and thence to a corridor with chambers leading off from both sides. There is a second entrance from the W.

The corridor runs N and eventually comes out into the gun pit of the later M group gun emplacement. A tracked shell delivery-way has been built in the corridor.
