NT 20300 76095 A watching brief was carried out, 13–15 August 2013, during the excavation of five test trenches in advance of the installation of new water mains. No finds or features or archaeological significance were recorded.

Watching Brief (February 2014 - March 2014)

NT 203 761 A watching brief was carried out, February - March 2014, during excavations associated with the installation of a new water main around Lauriston Castle. A number of features were observed which were related to the drainage and use of the surrounding landscaped gardens. These included two stone-surfaced paths, a rubble filled drain, three stone slab-covered drains and a possible wall foundation.
