Indeterminate Remains, Bught Rig, 2. About 200 yds. NW of RCAHMS 1957 No. 202 (NT22NE 2), near the upper limit of the marshy hollow that is drained by the Risp Sike, there is another group of stones, sixteen in number, eleven of which lie roughly on the circumference of a circle about 45ft. in diameter. Three of the Stones, the largest of which stands to a height of 2ft. 6 in. above ground-level and measures 3ft. by 1ft. 6in. at the base, are earthfast and on end, while the rest are fallen or broken. In view of its dilapidated condition, it is impossible to decide whether this setting represents the remains of a prehistoric stone circle, as has been claimed, (C G Cash 1913) or some more recent structure perhaps associated with the near-by farm or croft noted under No. 202 (NT22NE 2).

These stones are fully described by RCAHMS. All the stones shown on the RCAHMS plan were located except that marked 'B' on plan in red ink.

The stone setting lies within a dense conifer forest and was noted, drawn and photographed by Jennifer Payne during 2005.
