Formerly entered as NT12NW 35 at cited location NT 1145 2707.

About 50yds. to the E of Polmood house there stands a rectangular dovecot measuring 17ft.6in. by 14ft.8in. over all. It appears to date from the 17th century, but was evidently remodelled in the 19th century, when the crow-steps were removed, the pigeon-ports added and a number of openings altered. The roof is of the penthouse type.

RCAHMS 1967, visited 1958

NT 1145 2707. As described.
