Archaeology Notes

NT03SE 23 0548 3351.

(NT 054 335) The remains of a cairn are situated about three-quarters of a mile WSW of Mitchelhill farm, on the watershed between the Mitchelhill Burn and the Crannie Burn. It appears as a heather-covered stony mound, measuring 60ft in diameter and 2ft 6ins in greatest height. The central portion has been almost completely removed.

RCAHMS 1967, visited 1963.

Visited by OS (DWR) 11 August 1972.

Scheduled as White Hill, cairn.
