A road block has been identified from an oblique RAF wartime air photograph (No.1 CAM, no.24698, flown 15 June 1944) in Bo'ness Road immediately to the N of the Grangemouth Airfield aircraft hangars (NS98SW 23.06).
The road block consisted of blocks alternately from the N and S sides of the road with short stub blocks opposite.
The road block was removed during the postwar period.
