Rectangular area to the E of the A70 formerly the location for the main stores and warehouses. Only a large concrete base and one shed survive.
The area is visible on vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 81, 4305-4307, flown 10 May 1946), which show that at that date there were five groups of coupled sheds. Another series of vertical air photographs taken in 1968 (OS 68 021-022, flown 8 April 1968) show that the warehouse/shed complex had been rebuilt into a swa-toothed roof group with a single shed to the SE. It is the single shed to the SE that would appear to have survived to date.
