(NS 8141 9661) Stone (NAT)

OS 6" map (1938)

This 'stone' is in fact comprised of three stones set upright edge to edge in the form of a triangle, each measuring 0.6m by 0.05m by 1.0m high. The local former stated that they marked the junction of the ancient Clackmannan, Perthshire, and Stirlingshire county boundaries. On one of the stones was the inscription shown on the sketch of the stones made on the OS Record Card for this site.

Visited by OS (WMJ) 20 June 1950.
