Carfin Brick Works

Depicted as roofed buildings (NS76811 58615; NS76821 58636; NS76830 58622) lying north west of, and apparently part of, NS75NE 49.01 ('Tileworks'; 1st edition 6-inch Ordnance Survey Map (Lanarkshire, (survey) 1859, sheet XII)) .

Depicted as 'Carfin Brickworks' by 1897 (2nd Edition Ordnance Survey 6-inch map, Lanarkshire, (survey) 1897, sheet XII.SW).

Brickworks demolished by 1938 (Ordnance Survey 6-inch map, Lanarkshire, 1939, sheet XII.SW).
