NS56NE 2867.03 5944 6640.

This bridge, just S of the Port Dundas basins (NS56NE217.02), was a Forth and Clyde 'style opening bridge.'

This bridge, which was a short distance to the S of the Port Dundas basins (NS56NE 217.02) and carried Canal Street over the 'Cut of Junction' waterway (NS56NE 2867.00), is clearly visible on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire 1865, sheet vi) and on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire 1896, sheet viNE).
