Littleton Reservoir [NAT]

This small reservoir forms an element of the Balgray Reservoir complex. It has been formed by damming the Brock Burn.

This reservoir was built 1847-48 under powers of 1846 Act (Act of Parliament, 9 and 10 Victoria 1, c.cccxlvii). The reservoir sits at 90.53m (297 imperial feet) above datum and covers an area of 1.92 hectares (4 acres). The reservoir can impound upto 1.4 million cubic feet of water.
