A Late Bronze Age socketed axe from Law, Darvel (Law Bridge: NS 570 382) is in the Dick Institute, Kilmarnock.

that the above find came from Low Overmoor, Darvel (not Law): see

NS54SE 3.

(Socketed axe: Dungiven variant of Dowris type). Law, Darvel, Ayrshire. Single find. Socketed axe, porous, originally green patina, trimmed, short haft ribs. Length 95mm, mouth 28 x 32mm, cuttinbg edge 58mm, weight 240 gms. Dick Institute, Kilmarnock.
