Archaeology Notes

NS37NE 168.01 3737 7758

The control bunker for Starfish site 13a is visible on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1949 (58/A/419: 5184-5186). It is situated 200m N of Old Kipproch, and 800m SE of the decoy site (NS37NW 168.00). The denuded remains of the bunker can be seen on All Scotland Survey air photographs taken in 1988 (51588: 023, 024).
