(Troon 1: location cited as NS 308 319). At end of S pier and mounted on extension of sea wall: base 1848, tower c. 1890. Base of bull-nosed masonry, circular-section, tapering with short cylindrical steel upper section with circular windows. Lantern cylindrical (now with corrugated aluminium lower section), triangular panes and conical roof with ventilator and lightning conductor. Caged siren on W side.
