Field Visit (2015)
Creation of Machine Tools Process videos in collaboration with Machine Tools Project, Scottish Transport and Industry Collections and Knowledge network, Scottish Maritime Museum and HES (who created the videos MV0000554-587). The engineer filmed showing various machine tooling techniques is Mr Cameron Lawrie of Troon, retired engineer and machine hobbyist filmed in his own workshop in 2015. The filming was undertaken by Steve Wallace, Miriam McDonald (HES) and Daniela Wellnitz, STICK Industrial Collections Officer for the project. The videos have been attached to the Canmore Scottish Maritime Museum record as SMM managed the Machine Tools Project.
