Lighthouse (Occulting White, Fixed Red) [NAT]

OS (GIS) AIB, May 2006.

(Ayr 2: location cited as NS 329 227). At end of S breakwater: 1874-8. Cylindrical cast-iron tower with triangular-paned windows at two levels on seaward side. Conical roof; surmounted until c. 1900 by two-stage siren in wire cage. Later raking stays at sides and rear.
