About 120m SSE of this boulder and 6m E of the footpath (NS 0594 2958) there is a large block of sandstone which bears three incised crosses, all much weathered. Two of them are almost equal-armed, measuring 70mm and 90mm in span, and a Latin cross is 160mm high and 90mm in span.

I Fisher 2001, 63-5.
