Lime Kiln (disused) [NAT]

1OOm S of Gigalum Cottage in a grassy field this well-built kiln is built into a bank on its W side. Made of dressed stone it measures 2.5m high at the front (E end), 7m from front to back and 5m from side to side. The main hearth is on the E face but there are matching artificial hearths on the S and N walls.
