The ruins of this deserted township, which lies 300m to the SW of the township NR36NE 12.01, were plotted at 1:5000 as part of the survey of the landscape around Loch Finlaggan. They are also shown as unroofed on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Islands of Islay and Jura, Argyllshire, 1882, sheet 198).

A township comprising three unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building of four compartments, and one incomplete enclosure is depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1867, sheet cxcviii). Five unroofed buildings and one enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981).
