A township comprising two groups of buildings, approximately 200m apart, and a system of head-dykes, which are partially shared with the farmstead to the SW (NR34SW 40), is depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1882, sheet ccxxxix). The group to the N (NR 3373 4322) consists of four unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building of five compartments, and two enclosures, and the group to the S (NR 3360 4302) consists of three unroofed buildings, all of which are subdivided, two of these being long buildings, and three enclosures.

The two groups and the head-dykes are also shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981). The group to the N comprises three unroofed buildings and two enclosures, and the group to the S comprises three unroofed buildings, two enclosures and a disused kiln.
