OS 6" map, Aberdeenshire, 1st ed., (1865)

At a place called Tilbouries there is a broad shallow ford across the river Dee, supposed to have been used by the Roman army.

Name Book 1864.

No trace of this ford was found.

Visited by OS (W D J) 28 November 1961.
