St Palladius's Well: A large spring coming out of the face of the rock, situated at the foot of the manse garden. It was a place of pilgrimage from all parts of Scotland before the Reformation, and its waters were believed to work all kinds of miracles.
Name Book 1864.
There is a drystone-lined well, about 0.7m in diameter and 1.6m deep, probably modern, at the site of St Palladius's Well.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
