The remains of the bomb store are situated in a grass field on the SW section of the airfield. Only two structures are shown on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map, though some of the stores may have been built underground.
The bomb store is visible on RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 5, 4080-4081, flown 14 April 1946) and again on images taken in 1967 (OS 67 304 170-171, flown 7 August 1967), which show at least seven structures set beside linking roadways.
