NO 4972 2278. Situated in sand dunes, S of Tentsmuir Forest and N of Leuchars Airfield is a steel domed pillbox. Of WW2 date, and similar to an Alan Williams turret it formed part of the airfield defences.

Pillbox - sheet iron domed roof embedded into old dune.

Nearby: building - flat concrete roof - brick walls - collapsed and lying in heap.
