Newport. 'It is almost certain that the chapel of St Thomas of Seamylnes was built by one of the Lascelles lairds of Naughton, close beside the ferry (NO42NW 8) though no trace of the building now remains.'

(The ferry of Seamylnes was near the site of the present Newport pier).
