A medieval graveslab was found when a neighbouring wall was being rebuilt. It had been recently broken into three parts, the pedestal base already being missing. Alongside the incised shaft of the cross on the left side is a pair of shears. The head of the cross consists of two circles with some smaller circles incised between them. A fragment of another which bears the incised sides of a shaft was found nearby at the churchyard entrance on the surface.

N K Atkinson and N M Robertson 1988.
