NO32SE 17 3752 2298.

(Area: NO 375 229) On Shambleton Hill, at the W end of the ridge, is a mound whose height above ground on the N side is 10ft, but it slopes down many feet on the steep S side. The diameter of its level circular summit is approximately 36ft. It is thinly covered with scrub, and commands the country in every direction but NE and E.

Information from J Bryce, Druimfas, Gauldry, Newport-on-Tay, February 1965.

This site, pointed out on the ground at NO 3752 2298 by Bryce, is a natural flat-topped knoll.
