Field Visit (5 May 1989)

NO23SW 1.02 2133 3166.

Two small cup-marked boulders are visible on the SW side of the fort NO23SW 1.01. The first is situated at the bottom of the scarp of the second rampart immediately below a row of outer facing-stones. On its upper surface there are at least four cup-marks measuring up to 40mm in diameter. The second is situated 14m NW of the first and forms part of the outer wall-face of the third rampart. On its upper surface there are four cup-marks measuring up to 70mm in diameter.
