This feature could not be located at the NGR given during a pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology (NMRS MS 899/42, 2). The area indicated correpsonds to an area of wet tussocky grass and rushes much cut by drainage channels and rig (NO20NW 48). Upcast from one or more of the drainage channels may have been interpreted as an enclosure.
