NO11NE 21 c. 183 153.

(Area: NO 183 153). A polished axe of greenish felstone was found during the excavation of the fort on Castle Law, Abernethy (NO11NE 12), c. 1898 and donated to the National Museum of Antiquities.

The 'axe of felstone' from the fort on Castle Law, Abernethy (NO11NE 12) that was presented to the (former) National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland by the Excavation Committee [of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland] in 1899 is held in the Royal Museum of Scotland under accession number GP 19. It measures 4.13ins (105mm) by 2.25ins (57mm).
