Nts Note (24 March 2014)

Built ca. 1895 and designed by Marshall Mackenzie, also the architect of Mar Lodge, in a neo-Romanesque style. Built with granite blocks and ashlar detailing stones, it is a small rectangular building with a gabled porch on the south.

The stained glass windows are by Kempe of London. The East Window features the resurrection, the west features the figure of St. Michael slaying a dragon with a small cruxifiction scene beneath. The smaller 3 north windows and 2 south windows features angels with musical instruments. Internally, in front of the author is a vault with six sections 2’ 6” wide.
