Archaeology Notes

NO01NE 122 0540 1755

Both the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire, sheets cix, 1866 and cix.NE, 1901, respectively) depict a roofed and circular horse-engine house at Farm of Forteviot steading. It may survive within the fabric of the present steading, which has been extensively remodelled in recent years.

Information from RCAHMS (JRS), 12 January 1996.
