Archaeology Notes

NN74NW 24 c. 73 46.

A beautifully cup-marked stone was found at the Cuile not far from Dalraoch (NN 73 46) by Mr Cameron, Fortingall, in 1884.

C Stewart 1884

This cup-marked stone cannot be located. According to Mr D MacGregor (Balnald, Fortingall) the Cuile is in the wood at approximately NN 745 472, but Dalraoch is the field centred at NN 732 465.
