A circular setting of large, irregular shaped prostrate slabs of native rock is visible about 450 yards north of the 'Sentry-box', Euich. It is 60 feet in diameter, lying in a grassy hollow. (Compares it to Arbor Low and Avebury).
A D Lacaille 1924.
This feature, at NN 3666 2701 , is situated in a saddle between two knolls. The position is greatly different from that given by Lacaille, being some 200.0m east of the site of the 'Sentry Box' but is undoubtedly that described by him.
This is not a stone circle but the remains of a sub-rectangular enclosure bounded by a scatter of large boulders and smaller stones. On the west and part of the north sides there is a semblence of crude dry stone walling, maximum height 0.7m. A gap in the south side may be an entrance. There is no trace of any internal structure.

Described as glacial debris at Strathfillan resembling a stone circle.
A D Lacaille 1954.
Previous OS field surveyor confirmed.

This would appear to be the remains of an enclosure of 'recent' date.
Visited by OS (D W R) 4 March 1973.
