Note
What may be two unroofed shieling-huts, one of which is long building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1874, sheet cxiv). Due to creation of Lochan Shira (NN12SE 9.00) as part of a hydro-electric scheme, the location of the site now lies under water and is therefore not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1977).
