A roofed building with a small enclosure attached and two roofless buildings are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1874, sheet xcix) to the N and E of Kilvaree farmstead. None of these buildings is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1976).

The site comprises two unroofed, one partially roofed, one roofed building and two enclosures as depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1874, sheet xcix). One partially roofed, two roofed buildings and one enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1976).
